What changes the number
Glass area — an MPV carries far more glass than a compact hatch. Film series — the gap between a brand's entry and flagship series is larger than the gap between brands. Old film removal — failed dyed film is slow and careful work. Condition of the glass — chips and heavy scale need addressing before film goes on.

Frequently asked questions
How much does car tinting cost in Penang?
Dyed film RM 300–600, carbon RM 600–1,200, nano-ceramic RM 1,200–2,800 and premium ceramic RM 2,800–5,000 for a standard saloon. MPVs cost more because of glass area.
Why is there a price range rather than one price?
Glass area varies by model, film series varies in cost, and removing failed old film adds labour. Send your car model and we'll convert the range into a fixed quote.
Do you charge to remove old tint?
Yes, quoted separately. Baked-on dyed film is slow to strip, especially on a rear windscreen with defogger lines.
Is the cheapest film ever the right choice?
For a car being sold soon or kept under cover, sometimes. For a daily driver parked outdoors in Penang, dyed film usually fails within a couple of years.
