Every major brand makes both excellent and ordinary film. The brand on the box tells you far less than the series name, the VLT, and who is holding the squeegee.

Why brand-first shopping fails
Ask for '3M tint' and you could be quoted anything from an entry dyed film to a high-end ceramic series. The price difference across one brand's range is larger than the difference between brands at the same tier.
This is also the most common way shops create a misleading quote: name a premium brand, fit its cheapest series.
Warranty is where the real difference sits
A warranty is only worth the entity behind it. Manufacturer-backed warranties survive a shop closing; shop-backed warranties don't.
Check what's actually covered. Some cover fade but not bubbling. Some are void if the film is fitted by a non-authorised installer — which makes dealer status a warranty question, not a marketing one.
The installer matters as much as the film
Contamination under film cannot be fixed after the fact. Edges that lift, creases in a rear windscreen, and dust specks are fitting failures, not film failures.
Ask where the car will be filmed. If the answer is an open forecourt, the film series is the least of your problems.
